RAK Ports exhibits at the World Ports & Trade Summit 2011

28/30 March 2011 - RAK Ports exhibits at the very first World Ports & Trade Summit held in Abu Dhabi.

 The Trade Summit focused on the developing ports and associated marine industries in the Gulf region.  The conference and exhibition facilitated a detailed exchange of knowledge between the region’s ports, shipping lines and the cargo owning community.   

RAK Ports main focus at the Summit was to showcase the new and fully operational Al Jazeera Shipyard “ship lift system” and dry dock facility, and to promote the 8 million sqm RAK Maritime City – the emirate’s latest waterfront free zone industrial park.
