Saqr Port achieves Lloyds Register Quality Assurance accreditation at first attempt.

After 6 months of intense work Saqr Port Authority has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 approval by Lloyds Register following an intense assessment of its Quality Management System.

Saqr Port’s General Manager Capt Colin F.G. Crookshank commented “ Saqr Port is extremely pleased with the award of LRQA ISO 9001:2008 accreditation at its first attempt. I would personally like to thank the management team at Saqr Port for the considerable work they have put in to achieve this approval as it is no mean feat to be accredited by Lloyds Register. In addition this once again shows Ras Al Khaimah’s commitment to introducing and achieving International Standards and best practice throughout its ports”.
