Management of Ras Al Khaimah Ports combined under umbrella of Saqr Port

As of March 2010 the operational management of all Ras Al Khaimah Ports has now been placed under the responsibility of Saqr Port Authority.

The Saqr Port Group will now consist of 5 Ports – Saqr Port, RAK Maritime City, AL Jazeera Port, RAK Khour Port and Al Jeer Port.

The Saqr Port Groups General Manager Capt Colin F.G. Crookshank commented “ This now gives the Saqr Port Group the unique opportunity to offer a complete solution in Ras Al Khaimah to all our customers by providing niche operations at all our ports. These will include Bulk Cargo Handling, General cargo Handling, Marine Industrial Park, Free Zone Authority, Livestock, Recreational, Marina, Cruise, Lay-by and Ship Repair, Dry Docking, Ship Breaking, Land and Warehouse Rental”.
