Aggregates/Rock

Saqr Port is equipped with specialist machinery to handle the work of aggregate processors.

The Port provides storage facilities for aggregates and supports a major aggregate loading terminal facility that is operated by Stevin Rock/RAK Rock. Last year, nearly 24,000,000 tonnes of aggregates were shipped into and out of the Port, for use in major construction projects such as road building and infrastructure works.

Most of the aggregates that is exported out of Saqr Port is from the Khor Khwair which is rich in good quality limestone.

Various sized rocks can also be handled on request.
